Oh happy day!

Upon my awaking this morning I heard a faint tap, tap, tap, tap against my window. The hedge outside our window brushes the glass when the wind blows so I thought nothing of it.

However, after making the bed and walking to another room the tap, tap, tap was more persistent. I felt a flutter and a rush of excitement well up inside me.

"Anthony..." I said timidly... hoping against hope what I was about to ask would not be shattered with a "no".

"Hey Babe" I call a little louder.

"What?"

"Is it raining?"

"Um....." he gets up from the computer and saunters to the window, seemingly in slow motion as I practically dance in anticipation.

"Yeah"

Boy oh boy!!! "I can wear my rain boots?"

Anthony looks at me and sees the distant spark of my childhood returning to my eyes as I gleefully jump up and down and clap my hands. He nods and giggles "yes, you can wear your rain boots."

Good golly, you'd think it was Christmas morning in the Eversole home.

I ran to the closet and chose a sweater I knew would match my rain boots then began getting ready for the day.

I didn't want to get the boots out and have them sit there waiting for me...

After getting dressed and ready I called for Anthony to please bring me my boots.

As I finished applying my mascara my boots seemingly grinned and twinkled at me through the mirrors reflection.

Oh how happy!!

I sat on the piano bench and rushed my socks onto my feet. Then I delicately grasped my left boot gently in my hand and the flood of excitement returned like adrenalin upon your favorite's band ascent to the stage...

On the boots went with my pants tucked in so everyone could see the cuteness!!

I couldn't find my umbrella so we went across to the TSC to buy one. They had some with stripes, some with flowers, some plain... but then I found it.

This adorable red tartan patterned umbrella, sort of like my book bag. I snapped it up and $6.50 later we were a pair!!"

Now I can walk under any tree or through any puddle. Oh yes rain boots and umbrella, you sure do make me happy!!

"Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd"

This Fall the Opera and Theatre departments are combining efforts to put on the production Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Anthony will be playing - SWEENEY TODD - "Morose and brooding, a barber by profession, newly arrived in London after 15 years' unjust incarceration in a penal colony."

Synopsis: In Victorian London, the barber Benjamin Barker is married to the gorgeous Lucy and they have a lovely child, Johanna. The beauty of Lucy attracts the attention of the corrupt Judge Turpin, who falsely accuses the barber of a crime that he did not commit and abuses Lucy later after gaining custody of her. After 15 hard years in exile for a crime he didn't commit, Benjamin Barker, now Sweeney Todd, returns to London to find his wife dead and his daughter in the hands of the evil Judge Turpin. In his anger, Sweeney goes on a murderous rampage on all London. With the help of Mrs. Lovett, he opens a barber shop in which he lures his victims with a charming smile before casually ending their lives with a flick of his razor across their necks. These bodies are then turned into Mrs. Lovett's new meat pies. But not one man nor ten thousand men killed can satisfy Sweeney's lust for vengeance on those who've caused his years of pain, all Todd needs to do now is try to convince the Judge to sit in his barber chair.

-- The movie version was rated R for graphic bloody violence. This is not a feel good musical to bring your children to, the story line isn't for everyone. The moral, however, is that holding grudges and inability to forgive will ultimately catch up to you. The music, also, is genius... in my opinion Stephen Sondheim's best work. The show is dark, but also is broken up with a lot of humor and is really a very funny show... I just didn't want you all to read the synopsis and immediately be turned off by it... also its a big deal for me (I was cast as the lead role out of 120 people that auditioned.) So if any of you think you might be able to support me, I would be grateful... again, I understand it isn't for everyone.
Love you all,
Anthony
