The most interesting movie experience EVER
Benjamin and I went to see Les Miserables last night, and it was definitely... interesting. I heard this noise behind me and turned to investigate and notices that the only people sitting behind us were a couple in their 50's... and then I noticed what they were doing. This grandma and grandpa were MAKING OUT!!! Seriously, for a good 10 minutes they just sat their and sucked each others' faces off! Even after the movie started, they kept a goin'. At one point, the movie went silent, and all I heard was wet, sloppy kissing sounds. I was just about ready to ask Benjamin if we could move when they finally stopped. About 3/4 of the way through the movie the 4 kids sitting across the aisle from us spilled their soda all over themselves. We hear this crash, ice and soda hitting the floor, then about 4 seconds later, a very choice expletive. After we finally got settle in again and the 4 kids left the theater, we were enjoying the last 10 minutes of the film where Hugh Jackman was singing his little heart out and suddenly his tempo slowed... and slowed... and slowed, and then it sounded like an old tape recorded whose battery was dieing, and then the screen went black. Four or five minutes later the movie came back on and we were able to finally finish it. Definitely, definitely, definitely an experience to remember.
